About the Opportunity:
As Lockheed Martin Australia continues to grow its engineering and technical capabilities, we are seeking Configuration and Data Management Analysts to support configuration management activities within multidisciplinary project teams. You’ll help maintain system configurations, support change processes, and contribute to data integrity across the product lifecycle in a defence engineering environment. This role is ideal for candidates with some experience in configuration or data management who are eager to expand their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Support core configuration management activities, including configuration identification, change control and status accounting.
Help define and maintain configuration baselines and ensure traceability of engineering data.
Maintain technical data accuracy and integrity in PLM/ERP tools (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE).
Work with engineering and project teams to apply configuration and data governance processes.
Assist configuration audits, design reviews and verification activities.
About You:
Essential Skills
Demonstrated ability using configuration management processes, change control or technical data support in a project or engineering environment.
Understanding of configuration control, baseline maintenance and traceability principles.
Familiarity with PLM/PDM/ERP systems or eagerness to learn and apply these tools.
Strong attention to detail, good communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
Experience supporting configuration audits, change reviews or governance frameworks (e.g., EIA-649, ISO 10007).
Exposure to digital engineering practices or model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
Familiarity with structured data management or product lifecycle processes.
