What’s the role?

An exciting opportunity is available for a Manager, Analytics to join our Data, Digital and AI WIB team at Westpac.

As a Manager, Analytics, you are responsible for the data analytics services provided across the customer lifecycle, including pre-sales, onboarding, delivery management, retention and strategic consulting.

In addition, by working directly with clients, the Manager, Analytics will play a key role in client-driven product ideation and design, thereby contributing to continuous innovation and product-market fit.

What do I need?

• Lead the development and delivery of solutions within a data and analytics environment.
• Apply a strong commitment to data-driven transformation to generate measurable financial returns and create sustainable competitive advantage for clients.
• Perform data sourcing, ETL, and data pipeline development, including integration with enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and/or R to support analytical and development activities.
• Manage large-scale datasets to ensure data integrity, quality, performance, and analytical accuracy.
• Working within agile environments and associated software and tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA and BitBucket)
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Highly engaging interpersonal skills and able to build credible working relationships with peers and stakeholders at all levels of business.
