About the role
The Information Analyst is responsible for collecting, collating, monitoring, validating and disseminating student and enrolment data in compliance with national and state Government and college standards and requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience interrogating large relational data sets, developing effective queries, and delivering insights that drive process improvements and informed decision making across the College. Strong technical skills in Excel, Access and Power BI, along with sound data management knowledge, will support your ability to resolve data issues, maintain data quality and meet reporting obligations.
Experience within a TAFE or similar education environment is highly regarded, as it enables you to quickly apply governance requirements, advise stakeholders with confidence and deliver outcomes with minimal onboarding.

Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. If this position involves contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
Over the next twelve (12) months; candidates found “Suitable” through this process may be offered appointment to similar & subsequent vacancies within the College, within other TAFE Colleges or across WA Government (subject to candidate permission being granted).
Should no suitable applicant be identified, or an offer declined, the panel may search for further applicants beyond the closing date.
