Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, supporting and developing the Spatial Information Officers to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
- Working collaboratively with the Capital and Asset Accounting Team to deliver spatial information services in line with established service level agreements.
- Providing high‑quality technical advice for organisational projects involving the capture of infrastructure assets.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for spatial capture within the Asset Management System and supporting the broader Asset Management Team.
- Ensuring spatial data outputs are accurate, timely and aligned with organisational requirements.
Skills and experience:
- Strong technical competency in GIS, including demonstrated experience using ArcGIS Pro.
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to support and guide a team through busy operational periods.
- Knowledge of asset management and asset capture processes; familiarity with Redland City Council asset systems is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume accounting and asset management environment, especially at peak periods such as end‑of‑financial‑year.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to provide expert technical advice across the organisation.
