WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THE ROLE

• Work as part of project teams that apply statistical survey skills to conduct processes including:
o Frame and sample preparation
o Cleaning and processing survey responses and other structured and unstructured data
o Data processing, analysis and reporting
• Support the preparation of detailed project proposals, plans or agreements for the provision of statistical or program evaluation services
• Ensure outputs satisfy office standards for integrity, accuracy and timeliness based on quality principles and methodologies.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

• Proficiency in processing and analysing data. For statistical processing and analysis, QGSO use the software application “R”.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• An understanding of official statistics including standards and classifications
• Ability to work with project teams comprising statisticians, analysts, project managers and report writers
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing work priorities with tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail
