Description
We are seeking a Senior Project Officer – Data Management to join a collaborative Government Department. In this role, you will help lead data management, reporting and systems improvement work across a range of meaningful projects. You’ll play a key role in strengthening data quality, improving reporting capability, and supporting better decision making across programs that deliver real community impact.
This is a hybrid role that combines elements of data management, project delivery, and systems coordination, working closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Support and lead data governance, quality and data improvement initiatives
- Maintain and enhance datasets through cleansing, validation and enrichment
- Contribute to the development of reporting frameworks and impact reporting tools
- Support the rollout and optimisation of Salesforce and related data systems
- Develop dashboards and reporting (Power BI)
- Coordinate with developers and external resources delivering system enhancements
- Provide user support, troubleshooting and training for system users
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Experience in data management, reporting or data systems roles
- Strong skills in data quality, analysis and interpretation
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience with Power BI
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within project timelines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Experience working with diverse or sensitive stakeholder groups (desirable)
MUST HAVE clear police check, Australian Permanent Residency or citizenship and reside in NSW.
